Introduction
Magnetic Particle Testing (MT/MPI) is one of the most widely used surface and near‑surface Non‑Destructive Testing methods for detecting cracks, laps, seams, porosity, and discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials. It is fast, reliable, cost‑effective, and essential for weld inspection, fabrication quality control, structural integrity assessment, and in‑service inspection.
MT Level I & II certification ensures inspectors can perform magnetic field application, particle application, interpretation of indications, and evaluation of defects according to international codes such as ASME, AWS, API, ISO, and EN.
